Choose the ring size, wall thickness, degree of hollowness and in only a few seconds Rhinojewel will automatically create rings which can be used the way they are or as a starting point for further modeling. Combine more than 30 predefined sections to create an infinite variety of rings or design your own sections to use and add to the library. Save the models you created and use them again by changing only those parameters needed to adapt to a new design.

Eternity Ring Creator (Channel-Set)

Create channel-set full or half eternity rings with the option to choose the number of stones. Specify values for a number of parameters including wall thickness, height, sections, crosspiece, etc. and choose a gem cut: brilliant, princess, baguette. Automatically generate your ring and should you decide to change ring size the tool will adjust the number of stones.

Eternity Ring Creator (Prong-Set)

Create an infinite variety of brilliant-cut prong-set eternity rings: choose gem size, ring size, specify parameters for gallery type and prongs number and placement and then choose a prong section from the library of predefined prong sections. Bezel Setting Creator

Create bezel settings for different gem cuts in only a few seconds. Choose between brilliant, princess, baguette, emerald-cut, oval, marquise, pear or triangular cut stones. Change the parameters for Length and Width of a stone, including corner length in emerald-cut stones. Specify cut, wall thickness, height or seat of the bezel and generate it in seconds.

Prong Setting Creator

Automatically generate prong settings for a great variety of gem cuts and with different options in number and position of prongs for each setting. Choose a variety of parameters for your setting including wall thickness, height, position of prongs, etc… Should you be looking for a particular look you may activate the option for Manual Boolean to change the position or profile of your prongs.

3D Textures

Randomly distribute an object on a surface to generate creative textures which may be subsequently curved and applied to your designs. All parameter changes can be visualized in real time. You may also create textures with flat surfaces and then use the Rhinojewel tool Extract Contour from Surfaces to create a unique contour which you can extrude to generate the texture object.

Pattern for Laser Engraving

Create patterns for laser engraving starting from a master, to use as creative textures or to enhance the finish of jewels. Choose a predefined pattern or create and use your own custom design, then rotate, scale or specify margins between the repeating master which will automatically appear on the selected surface. Unnecessary curves are automatically trimmed.

Advanced Boolean Operations

It is now easy to perform complex boolean operations of union or difference between a main solid and multiple other objects. Boolean operations of 500 or 1000 unions and differences to create pavés are no longer a problem because Rhinojewel booleans do not overload your hardware and avoid the typical crashes. If an object cannot be booleaned Rhinojewel will highlight it and carry on with the remaining objects.

Sliced View

The inside of an object may contain errors which are difficult to detect. The Sliced View tool allows to see the inside of objects or meshes, to verify if everything is correct and ready to prototype. This tool shows sections of the virtual object, which can be measured to verify the wall thickness of different areas of the object thus allowing to detect potential errors before prototyping.

Full Project Report

Generates quick reports for jewels in an Excel sheet which can be used as the item card (which can be further modified and reworked). The report automatically informs of the metal weights, gems used, diameters of any brilliant-cut stones etc. This report is also easily customized adding company logos, details of designer, client and other comments.

Ring Size Creator

Creates a circle of the size specified to use as a starting point for modelling a ring. You may specify by Diameter, Circumference, European, American, British or Japanese sizes. The circle will be generated in the optimal position for a correct visualization in the four main viewports: Front View, Top View, Right View and Perspective View, for a correct start to modelling your ring.

Advanced Scale Ring Size

Allows to create up to seven copies of the same ring in different sizes. After entering the current diameter of a ring in mm, you can request up to seven new copies specifying the new size by Diameter, Circumference, European, American, British or Japanese size. The ring can be scaled in 3D or maintaining the Width by a factor of 20% to 100%.

Metal Weights

A quick calculation of the volume of the object allows to determine its metal weight. This tool will show very precise estimates of weights in three variants: Normal (ideal for parts milled directly from metal, for example watch cases), Post-Process (to estimate the weight of those jewels which have been prototyped, cast and finished) and Post-Mold (to determine the weight of a jewel after moulding). These estimates vary depending on the moulding and finishing techniques used.

Chain Creator

This tool allows to rapidly create chains for photo realistic renderings with pendants or ear pendants. You may choose between three different angles of rotation of the links: 0, 60 or 90 degrees. Depending on the size of the links and the length of the curve they need to follow, this tool will calculate how many links need to be generated and places them along the curve.
