We have now released the final version of our
ActiveX controls. We have tested them under Visual Basic and Visual C++ and they work very
well. All components have exactly the same
functionality like our "original" Delphi components and we have worked hard to
include real visual design as we have it on Delphi. The result is a visual designer which
you can reach with the right mouse button and which can assist you in building the
connections between the components.
Currently we have not converted all of our MMTools Packs to
ActiveX controls but they will follow at a later date. The following packages are
currently available as ActiveX version:
Basic,Wave,Visual,AudioFX,Filters,Dsound,Mpeg,CD-Rom.
We have ported most of the demos to Visual Basic and Visual
C++ and while we have ported the demos we have found no problems so we are sure the
controls are free of critical bugs.
If you have questions about the components or if you have
usefull hints or comments please feel free to contact us.
Please don't use this controls under Delphi or C++ Builder,
they will work but the Delphi or C++ Builder version is the better choice for this
compilers ! We will not provide any support for the use of the ActiveX version under
Delphi or C++ Builder.
