TracePlus inserts itself between your Win32 or Win16 application and Winsock, ODBC or other API. TracePlus does this without any need for special DLLs or libraries linked in with your application. You simply start TracePlus, press Start, and launch your Windows application!
This very powerful feature enables TracePlus to work with any Windows application, including those where you don't have source code. TracePlus can also trace multiple applications at the same time, a must-have for serious Winsock development.
TracePlus displays the details of each API in much finer detail in contrast to script-based API tracing tools. For example, tracePlus/Winsock displays network addresses as IP addresses, detects and decodes WSAAsyncXXX() post-back messages, and maintains an open socket list sorted by task, among other features.
