1. New Components
The library was enriched with three new JavaScript components: dhtmlxForm, dhtmlxChart, and dhtmlxDataView (came in the stead of dhtmlxFolders but with much wider possibilities). Each of them will help you to facilitate your work and spare your time and efforts.

2. dhtmlxConnector 1.0
With this release we’re offering the update for our dhtmlxConnector – dhtmlxConnector 1.0.
Now you have all tools for server-side integration. All server work can be done with dhtmlxConnector component, and now even more available: server-side grid configuration, multi-user sync, grouping connectors, and many other features.
3. Compatibility with Touch Screen Devices
Touch-screen technology enters our lives at an ever-increasing rate, and we at DHTMLX keep abreast of the times. With the latest DHTMLX version, you can develop applications for touch-screen devices (such as the iPad) right now, and in the near future full touch-screen support will be at your disposal.

4. Variety of Perfections
We’ve made more then 150 different perfections all over the library – optimized memory usage, expanded functionality, rectified shortcomings, etc.
5. Improved Skin Builder
SkinBuilder became even better. A whole number of new features, including so frequently asked font control, was added.

6. Google Maps in Your Web Application
We simplified development of geolocation applications. Now you can add Google Maps to your web application easily. For example, you can integrate Google Maps into the Layout panel.

7. Support for Main Web Browsers
New browser releases appear nonstop and we refresh our list of supported browsers accordingly. So we can confidently assert that all the latest versions of popular browsers are supported (including beta versions).
8. New Skin
Now you have one more variant of components design which you can choose for your web application – new family of skins – “dhx_web” is delivered. The skin provides clean and simple look for all dhtmlx components.

9. RTL Support
In global world it is common that a web application needs to support multiple languages, including ones with right-to-left writing. Don?셳 worry, DHTMLX can help you and here. All major components of DHTMLX v2.6 can be switched to RTL mode with a single command line.
10. Server-Side Data Export to PDF or Excel
Imagine, you have some data on the page and want, for example, to print it. It?셲 feasible now. DHTMLX gives you the possibility to get data in PDF representation or save it in Excel format just by clicking the appropriate button.
